Currently, the investigation on Donald Trump by the attorney, Robert Mueller, seems to be going south for Trump. The investigation is now over and there have been several releases of report. Finally, they released the report but it is a redacted version, according to Colin Lecher in the article, "Read special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Trump and Russia" (https://www.theverge.com/2019/4/18/18412054/read-robert-mueller-report-special-counsel-trump-russia).
Warren clearly has her opinions on Trump, but I believe that one reason behind her impeachment upon him, is so she will not have to run against him next year in the presidential election. The whole idea of impeaching Trump sounds great to me, but there is a whole process and consequences that could result because of a Democratic-led impeachment. According to the New York Times in the article, "Elizabeth Warren Calls for Impeachment Process Against Trump" (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/19/us/politics/elizabeth-warren-impeachment.html) written by Astead W. Herndon, "democratic leaders are sharply divided on whether to pursue an impeachment effort against Mr. Trump." Some members of the House of Representatives are "divided" because of their experience and knowledge of the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, where they lost many valuable members. All the facts aside, I believe that Warren's intention of impeaching Trump is caused by her doubtfulness of not having the 2020 presidential election in the bag. By impeaching Trump, it would lesser her competition. I am all for Trump's impeachment but honestly, he only has one year left to serve before the next election where the citizens of the US may vote differently.
After this investigation, Senator Elizabeth Warren has called to begin the impeachment process against Trump. She has brought together the Democratic-led House of Representatives to begin this process. She tweeted this past Friday, April 19, "The Mueller report lays out facts showing that a hostile foreign government attacked our 2016 election to help Donald Trump and Donald Trump welcomed that help. Once elected, Donald Trump obstructed the investigation into that attack."
