What will you do?

To follow up on my previous media blog, I wrote some questions at the end of what will we do to help this national problem. This blog is based on what we can do to help. 

Women need to discover their true power to become powerful. Other women need to support these women in order to help them succeed. This means that women need to unite and we cannot be the ones who are making other women feel bad about themselves. Another thing girls can do is find their role models wherever you can. This applies especially to young girls because in order to have a good childhood and teenage life, a girl needs to have a good role model to look up to and learn from. It can simply be their mom or it could be a celebrity they have never met. Whoever it is, they will be the ones who will ultimately shape you to the adult you will be. We also need to take advantage and use the power women already have. We have to speak for other women and identify their aspirations. One problem is that women do not recognize their eternal strength so one thing is that they need to find it. Once they discover and understand the strength they truly have they will be successful in what they want to do. We have to teach girls around us to look at the media critically. Girls cannot be afraid to challenge their friends if they are saying derogatory things about women. May we all make empowering other women and girls a priority. We have to reflect on the ways we personally contribute to sexism. Another issue is that we tend to inflict pain upon other women. Women cannot be against each other, we have to come together as one if we are going to fix this national problem we are currently facing. The final solution is to boycott the media that objectifies women into something they are not. With these solutions, I think the world can become a more enjoyable place. If every women follows through with just one of these solutions, the role and lives of women will improve greatly, I know this as a fact.
